New Media Installation
Urban Underground will turn the walls of the PATH under Simcoe Place into the canvas for a visual and audio installation that embodies the literal layers of Toronto and what lies underneath the surface of the city.
This installation will tell the stories of the people who lived and worked in the underground of Toronto before the city started to urbanize beneath our feet, and how they compare to the stories of people who are living their lives underneath Canada’s economic centre today.
Simcoe Place, the PATH, 200 Front Street West, 416-944-1101
