Of the many kinds of lightning: cloud to cloud, cloud to ground, sheet, forked, ball, rocket, dry, staccato, extraterrestrial and more, this is the first detection of box lightning and it acts like a form of staccato.
Anticipating the next jolt, anticipating a thunderclap. There is no thunder. It exists in our anticipation only. Like flashes of inspiration, unpredictable but persistent.
