For the duration of the event the flagpole at 480 University Avenue will be used for personal messages of emotional states. The traditionally nationalistic and codified use of a flag will, for one evening, become a place for the personal to be writ large.

This flag is a humorous, pathetic and poetic statement of human desire and the potential and need for failure as an inevitable part of striving.
