Installation

Project Reach is a collaborative installation involving the work of students from 201 schools across the GTA. This massive project expresses how charity transforms lives. The project utilizes the human hand to symbolize our ability to reach out and change our world. Each school created a "box of charity" to express their point-of-view on its meaning. Containing student messages on the inside and beautiful artistic representations on the outside, all brought together in a sweeping interactive installation. Visitors are greeted with hundreds of hands beckoning them to come closer to discover what these engaged students want to communicate. From the beautiful imagery, the personal messages, the intricate found objects, and an installation that encourages the audience to meander through and around its configuration; providing something for everyone.

A collaborative installation authored by students from 201 TCDSB schools across the GTA celebrating the value of charity.
