A dance-piece by Mathew Romantini uses Butoh, an extreme Japanese dance form, to portray and unite disparate peoples. Each dancer is body painted to represent one piece of a puzzle which is choreographed to ultimately merge into a cohesive mural. The dancers will wander alone beckoning viewers and an historic TTC streetcar will carry the dancers, artists and YOU into Parkdale. Functioning like a mobile art installation, the antique tram will bring the public to west of Dufferin St. to discover dancers, performance, street art, buskers and a community art wall where you paint the mural!
