Democracy as public art. The gap between rich and poor across the city has been growing for more than thirty years, with surprising implications for the health and well-being of all Torontonians. New research from the University of Toronto showing the geography of this gap is the basis for a new interactive exhibit designed by Toronto artist Mitchell Chan, with an extensive public dialogue conducted by Toronto-based engagement firm, MASS LBP. Learn about the implications of growing polarization, and help the 44 randomly selected members of Toronto's first Residents' Reference Panel prepare for their deliberations as they consider and propose public recommendations to reverse this difficult trend. Explore the special exhibits and participate directly in the discussion to help us envision our future city. Presented by Diaspora Dialogues with the support of the Metcalf Foundation.
