We take in the world through our senses; our eyes, ears, nose, fingers, mouth. Pitch_Patch_Pulse combines light, sound, play and performance as artists Bentley Jarvis, Reena Katz and Geoffrey Shea create an alluring atmosphere of fractals, portals, activation and turbulence. While Jarvis transforms OCAD’s streetscape into a narrative of electro-acoustical digital imagery, Katz engages visitors with her trademark participatory performances throughout the evening. Through an interactive installation inviting the audience to play “old-timey” music and animate projections using their mobile devices, Shea interrogates DIY culture, inspiring exploration, jam sessions and collaboration.
