Light Installation

An interactive installation that creates a psycho-physical disturbance with light where public space and the perception of privacy intersect to create either a realistic or unrealistic perception of reality.  Light, a product of our industrialized society, is full of information and too fragmented; it also produces a glare, which can be a barrier to our vision and perception of our environment. The viewer becomes active in the installation as they are invited to walk on fragmented landscapes.

This work is accompanied by an original score by Luis Miguel Sanz Mayo for the Viola da Gamba and has been performed in Salamanca in the 5th Festival de Castilla y Leon. It has also been featured at Nuit Blanche Paris in 2009. Toronto is SPS's North American debut.
