The Royal Conservatory's TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning will pulse with music and spectacular interactive film and light exhibitions all night long. The night kicks off with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra, conducted by Uri Mayer, performing a work by R. Murray Schafer for string quartet and orchestra, in Koerner Hall at 8pm. Thanks to TELUS' support, The RCM and the Canadian Film Centre Media Lab will present an installation called "Musical Rumble: Jazz vs Classical," where larger-than-life musicians are projected onto the TELUS Centre windows and the audience uses smartphones to play a virtual game where jazz and classical musicians battle for your vote. Everyone in the Bloor Street courtyard will see, hear and interact with the projected performances, and vote to see their favourite version!
